Good evening Computech community this is Dr. Scherrer calling with a weekly update about some of the important events and happenings going on around campus.

Parents, be on the lookout for first quarter progress reports to come home with your child on Wednesday. Progress grades are a great opportunity to check the academic progress of your child half way through the first quarter and first grading period. We ask that you review with your child their progress grades and then place your signature on it and have your child return it to their first period teacher on Thursday. Once signed copies are returned, 1st period teachers will issue a permanent copy for students to take home and keep.

Thank you to the parents and community members that attending either our SSC or PTSO this past week.  We will have a SSC/PTSO corner added to the website that will have updates, contact information, and ways to sign up for communication.  In the meantime, a ballot for SSC parents will be coming home this week.  Please choose (3) parent names and we will count those at our next meeting on the first Wednesday in October.

As a final note, for all those Tiger families with ties to the areas of our nation being hit with natural disasters, as well as those who are remembering those impacted by the September 11th attacks…our thoughts are with you and your loved ones this week and always.  We will have a station in the front office to collect hurricane relief iems beginning this week; every little bit helps.

All right Computech community, that is all for this week. Thank you for tuning in every week for updates about our school and thank you for being part of our school where, along with you, we strive for the success of every student, every day.
