Good morning Computech community, this is Dr. Scherrer calling with a weekly update about some of the important events and happenings going on around Computech for the upcoming week.

8th grade families; Edison High School’s Magnet Night is this week. Postcards inviting students were mailed and should have been received already.  Magnet Night is an opportunity to see all that Edison has to offer. Computech students are on a 6-year transfer so you do not need to reapply (nor is attendance mandatory) BUT we all encourage you to attend. Magnet Night is Tuesday October 17th with Entertainment/Booths in the Quad: 5:00and a Formal Presentation in the Cafeteria 5:30pm.

Our Tiger football team pulled out a last minute win after an exciting game on Saturday against the Yosemite Bears.  If you weren’t already planning to, we’d love to see a huge turnout against Sequoia at the Championship game this Saturday, 10/21/17 at 11:00am at Sunnyside stadium.  Hope to see you there!

Finally, we are in the second week of the quarter, so don’t wait to check ATLAS, communicate with your teachers, and pull out a better second quarter than the first!
