November 26, Home Message

Good evening Computech community this is Dr. Scherrer calling with a weekly update about some of the important events and happenings going on around campus.

I hope this message finds all of you well and well rested after this past week off from school. As a reminder, there are only three weeks of school remaining before winter break, and the end of the second quarter and first semester of the 2017/18 school year.

I would like to invite all our families and community members to attend one of two showings of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow this week Wednesday or Thursday at 6:30pm in the Computech cafeteria.  Thanks to our Chevron and DonorsChoose.org patrons and the very hard work of both Mrs. Hbiler and Mr. Reidel, our students have been putting together an awesome performance of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow that you won’t want to miss.  We hope to see you there!

Finally, the Edison Region schools—Computech included—will be beginning a pre-drive for dental hygiene products ahead of our first ever Edison Region Carnival.  The Carnival is scheduled for December 9th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.  Our Regional Student Leadership Team consisting of students from all 10 schools in the Edison region designed this carnival as a fun event that collects items for the needy, homeless, and shelters in our area.  Computech is responsible for dental hygene products like toothpaste, toothbrushes, floss, and mouthwash…and the more we can collect, the better!

All right Computech community, that is all for this week. Thank you for tuning in every week for updates about our school and thank you for being part of our school where, along with you, we strive for the success of every student, every day.
