Good morning Computech community, this is Dr. Scherrer calling with a weekly update to share some of the important events and happenings going on around campus!

Two important notices will come home tomorrow, one for all students and one for 8th graders.

For all students, you will get a paper copy of our new sporting observation policy I shared last week.  Since we have several sporting events on campus this week, we will be using this policy for any student wishing to watch.  Please look for that notice from your Tiger.

8th graders will be getting a mandatory notice about the NAEP (National Assessment of Educational Progress).  The NAEP will be given to RANDOM students in 8th grade, but we wanted all to be aware that they may be chosen.  The assessment is scheduled for February 28th

Finally, this week there is a lot to celebrate!  Friday is both Jeanius Day for those with C or better, and our Math Tiger of the Month.  Thursday is our annual incentive night celebrating all students who ended Semester 1 with a 3.5 GPA or better.  Invitations will go home this week to those students, and they will be allowed to bring (1) family member with them to Blackbeard’s Park.  Look for that invite this week, and we hope to see you there!

All right Computech community, that is all for this week.  Thank you for tuning in every week for updates about our school and thank you for being part of our school where, along with you, we strive for the success of every student, every day.
